1. Subject and Scope
These terms of use govern your and my rights and obligations in connection with the use of the Wi-Fi access I provide.
2. My Services
2.1 I provide you with free Wi-Fi access to the Internet in my apartments.
2.2 The provision of the Wi-Fi access is within the limits of my technical and operational capabilities. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted access or a specific coverage area.
2.3 I do not guarantee that the Wi-Fi service will be available without interruption or that a specific transmission speed will be achieved.
2.4 I reserve the right to restrict or suspend access without prior notice for maintenance or repair work.
2.5 There is no entitlement to the use of specific services via Wi-Fi. Technical restrictions (e.g., port blocking) may be applied. Typically, browsing the internet and sending/receiving emails is possible.
3. Access and Use
3.1 Wi-Fi access is provided exclusively to guests of my apartments. It is an internal guest network and not a public telecommunications service within the meaning of the German Telecommunications Act (TKG).
3.2 Use of the Wi-Fi requires your acceptance of these terms, usually via a welcome page upon connection.
3.3 I reserve the right to restrict or terminate Wi-Fi access at any time without providing reasons.

4. Access Credentials
4.1 If you are provided with login details (e.g., username, password), these must be kept confidential and not shared with third parties.
4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that only you use the access credentials. In case of suspected misuse, you must notify me immediately.
4.3 You are liable for all activities carried out using your credentials, in accordance with applicable law.
5. Your Obligations as a User
5.1 You are required to provide truthful information about yourself, if necessary.
5.2 You agree to comply with applicable laws when using the Wi-Fi.
5.3 Further obligations arise from the following provisions of these terms of use.
6. Fees
Use of the Wi-Fi is free of charge.
7. Availability
As the service is provided free of charge, there is no entitlement to availability or a specific level of performance. However, I will endeavor to provide access with minimal disruptions.
8. Prohibited Actions
The following activities are expressly prohibited when using the Wi-Fi:
Publishing, distributing, or using illegal, harmful, offensive, defamatory, pornographic, or extremist content
Infringing third-party copyright, trademark, personal, or other rights
Using file-sharing services or illegal peer-to-peer platforms
Sending spam, junk mail, or chain letters
Distributing viruses, trojans, or other malware
Hosting servers or permanently transferring excessive amounts of data
Making technical changes such as altering DNS settings
Soliciting personal data or passwords from third parties for illegal purposes
Any actions that may interfere with or disrupt the operation of the network
I reserve the right to take legal action and block access in case of abuse.
9. Suspension of Access
I may suspend access temporarily or permanently if there is evidence of a violation of these terms or applicable law, or if I have a legitimate interest in doing so.
10. Indemnification
10.1 You use the Wi-Fi at your own risk.
10.2 You agree to indemnify me from all third-party claims resulting from your unlawful use, including legal and court costs.
10.3 You are obligated to assist me in defending against such claims and to provide relevant information.
11. Liability
11.1 I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
11.2 For simple negligence, I am only liable for damages resulting in injury to life, body, or health.
11.3 Otherwise, I am only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), and even then, only for foreseeable damages typical for the contract.
11.4 These liability limitations also apply to my vicarious agents.
11.5 Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
12. Data Protection
12.1 I process personal data only in accordance with legal requirements and only to the extent necessary for providing the Wi-Fi service.
12.2 If you have consented to certain types of data processing, you can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
12.3 To technically provide the Wi-Fi, temporary storage of device names, MAC addresses, and connection logs (log files) for up to 90 days may be required. These data are processed solely to maintain network security and are deleted afterward.

13. Final Provisions
13.1 The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
13.2 If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is my business location.
13.3 Should any provision of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
